As part of our food topic we have been reading the text ‘Spider Sandwiches’ which we have really enjoyed reading.  The children designed and made their own sandwiches, they thought very carefully about what fillings and bread they would like. Each child buttered their own bread, added a filling and tried to cut it themselves. We couldn’t wait to taste them and share what they liked about their sandwich.
