Schools are allocated a sum of money called, ‘Primary PE and Sport Funding’. This funding is provided in addition to the school’s budget to support all children and their involvement in activity.
The aim is to improve the quantity, quality and breadth of PE and sport provision. The allocation is calculated according to the intake of the school and the school must decide how to make best use of the money provided.
