We have been reading Spider Sandwiches by Sue Hendra, the children have loved this text and have been writing letters to Max, asking him to stop eating the spiders. We decided to make our own sandwiches to give Max ideas about what he could eat instead. The children designed and made their own sandwiches using the bread and fillings of their own choice.
