Year 5/6’s class worship was on the theme of ‘International Women’s Day’. They then showcased their Anglo-Saxon work to their families including: persuasive speeches, song writing and Anglo-Saxon villages they had created in DT.

Year 5/6 enjoyed Science out in the sunshine today! They were tasked with changing variables and planned investigations on ‘ volcanoes’.

Year 5/6 enjoyed a Zoom workshop with author Tony Bradman. The children asked some excellent questions about their current class novel ‘Anglo-Saxon Boy’ and Tony talked to them about what is involved in becoming an author.
