Sycamore class have been exploring how electricity is produced and how it gets to our homes. We looked at how electricity can be generated using fossil fuels, nuclear, or renewable sources. We then generated our own electricity using potatoes, copper and zinc to power a digital clock and LED bulbs.

Elm Class have enjoyed using the tuned instruments boomwhackers to perform different tunes as a group.

KS1 Science Club had a fab time this afternoon investigating reactions that produce gas! First we looked at how we can use soap to trap the gas and make the reaction larger! Children have created their own bubble art and made mini volcanic eruptions!

Elm Class have enjoyed exploring ScratchJr on the ipads. They were watching the sprite move around the screen using the different programming blocks.
