Reception and KS1 enjoyed a visit from the author Chloe Wilson. She read her story ‘The Mermaid of Loughrigg Tarn’, that includes a nature hunt and map. The children then created their own map.

Reception class have been making pizzas linked to their topic food. Mrs Stead talked to the children about what ingredients are needed to make dough and how to make a pizza base.
